10/18/00 - You may have heard me report this awhile back, and now, I finally have something. I mentioned before that a Strider 2 manga might be been released. Now I'm not saying that the evidence I have is for real, but I'm starting to piece this little puzzle together. Take a look in the pic below

Entitled "Strider Hiryu 2: Mission Impossible", it's still not known whether this is a fan manga or something legitimate from Capcom. More on this in future updates.

- Also worth mentioning is the Strider RPG that I am working on in collaboration with Mugen programmer Kenshin as well as D@rk-Sun, and most likely Lightstrider (Yohko) and his two collegues, Shadow Watcher and Dark Intent. The working title is "Strider: Project X" and I'll be writing it with Rade K. and will be taking place sometime between Strider 1 and 2.

So will this slow down Option Zero's progress? Well, it might. However, all of us doing the game want to have a lot of the characters from Option Zero to be in it. And in order to do that, the sprites for the Option Zero characters would have to be finished first. So in conclusion, it might slow down the game and pospone it and it might not. We hope that you Strider fans out there will understand. We're just trying to make quality games. Not ones that are just made within a week or so. The last thing we'd want to do is dissapoint, so if we postpone something, it's most likely because something went wrong or we're just not happy enough with it.

Oh yeah, that brings me to another subject. D@rk-Sun has created yet ANOTHER Strider for Option Zero. His name is Strider Kusanagi (2nd from left on the pic above). His storyline has him wanting revenge against Meio and the Kuniang sisters for killing his sister, Yuki, while on a recon mission to The Third Moon. Ever since then, he has never seathed his cypher which he has named after his sister and keeps it by his side at all times. He uses the element of Shadow for his attacks and is an extremely formidable Strider. More on the Strider 2 manga, the Strider RPG, and Option Zero in future updates.
